TWC Records Label Signs Four New Nigerian Artists
TWC Records has introduced four new artists; Minister Raqell, Pillaz, Sustain Music, and Minister Pat Joe) signed under the management of the recording label at a detailed press conference at the Lagos label office on Friday 29 April 2022.
At a press conference, A & R / Media Manager label; Chances Ikijana Alex representing the label president; Mr Sly Etuk welcomed the media to the event and took the time to explain why the company had decided to sign artists under him. He noted that the action of this label is proof that the label is growing and performing well, due to its growth, many independent artists want to work with this label in one or the other. It’s great that the label has extended its hand of fellowship to these young artists and used the stage and years of his experience to make these artists visible, heard and known through their music.
Amachree also described the process involved before the label decided to sign an artist, noting that one of the most important things a label looks for an artist to work with is from the sound and dedication shown in its work and journey. He acknowledged that all the artists presented today at the forum with various media outlets and did a lot of work in their work making an example of The Pillaz who have been together for 23 years singing regularly.
There was also a workshop session between the artists and the media where the artists got to answer a few questions about their music career and their journey and their speculation about the future.
The press conference was concluded and photo sessions were immediately followed. The media who will be attending the press conference are ARISE TV, AIT, STV, SELAH AFRIK, ILANGA, VANGUARD AND International newspapers.
It will definitely be a big year for the TWC Records family with these new additions to the family and we congratulate the entire TWC Records team and look forward to seeing what God will do with these artists through them!
